It's hilarious trash, shoot it right into my veins! And at rare times it can be legit funny and have a certain charm to its cast, especially with the main protag being a ridiculous anxiety-driven loser. Janky art aside, the chapters are often utter chaos of things just happening and characters obsessing over the most meaningless things, which makes for amazing riffing material (just remember that silly toilet scene!). Maybe there still is some massive demand for hitman/spy/assassin action-comedy that even the vastly superior Yozakura Family and Sakamoto Days plus SPYxFAMILY on Jump+ can't satisfy on their own?Īnd of course Nü Sexorcist Nue's Exorcist doing well (if the rank keeps up) would also be a surprise, but I can at least ironically enjoy that mess, lol. A tired concept ("ANOTHER hitman/spy/assassin series, but this time in highschool"!!), surprisingly lifeless and lackluster art for a veteran, paired with barely motivated characters and mean-spirited boomer jokes which ig somehow is popular with current readers, apparently. Meanwhile, Kill Blue might be some of the most unlikeable garbage I have seen in the magazine in years, outside of the various gag-flops. I assume it's too technical and sincerely passionate for teenagers but that usually shouldn't be a dealbreaker. Tenmaku Cinema is an incredibly well executed series about filmmaking with a great cast, fantastic art and a lot of passion for the art plus a popular vetaran duo and it somehow doesn't catch on, apparently. On top of this, we must also consider that this isn’t even based on scum villain, and is ANOTHER romantic classic historical drama, where we have a cute little FL falling in love with an OP QX.Īnyways, just a reminder this is all my 3am speculation born from overthinking, NONE OF THIS IS FOR SURE, and I could very well be completely wrong.New series' placement in recent ToCs are pretty baffling to me. For example, LBH could be considered both the male lead, the villain, and maybe even the master (if you consider the later parts of the novel) and SQQ could be considered the villain, the MC, and the master (during LBH’s disciple hood) Due to the nature of the plot, the characters have many ambiguous roles. It is difficult to assume the roles WY and QX might play if the novel is in fact based on scum villain. In that case, the ‘male lead’ aka LBH, should be played by Qin Xian, and ‘SQQ’ should be played by Wang Yi (lol a transmigrator playing a transmigrator) but this logic is incongruent with the statement that Wang Yi won’t be a master. Since all of the novels Wang Yi goes through seem to be teen girl novels, the plot shouldn’t follow PIDW logic. However, this doesn’t line up with a couple aspects of their character and roles respectively. However, according to comment, it looks like this time around Wang Yi “won’t be a master” Now, assuming this will be a reference to Scum Villain, this means Wang Yi will play the role of LBH, and Qin Xian plays the role of SQQ. Now idk if any of y’all know what scum villain is, but if we look at Wang Yi’s character design in that panel, he has Luo Binghe’s heavenly demon mark on his forehead, as well as the green Qingjing Peak robes LBH wore during his discipleship (although the hair accessory does look like something SQQ would wear maybe his character is closer to shizun) If we refer to that one panel with multiple forms of Wang Yi (refer to chapter 17) it looks like the illustrations line up with Wang Yi’s role in each plot line. Ok guys so I read the comment by (below) and according to their comment it looks like the next world will be a xianxia! >v<</p>
